Member of Parliament (MP) for Afigya Kwabre North Constituency in the Ashanti Region, Mr. Collins Adomako Mensah has donated 200 bags of cement towards the construction of a new 6 classroom block at Pampatia a community with his constituency.
The donation of the 200 bags of cement is a fulfilment of Mr Adomako Mensah”s campiagn promised to the good people of Pampatia during the 2020 Parliamentary elections.
The short but impressive presentation of the bags of cement took place in front of the Chief’s Palace yesterday.
Addressing the Chief, Elders and some residents, the Afigya Kwabre North lawmaker reiterated his commitment to see to the development of the Constituency.
Aside the donation of the 200 bags of cement, the MP for Afigya Kwabre North also made some undisclosed cash donations to the Chiefs and People of the area to support the construction of the schoolblock.
The Chiefs and elders after receiving the package thanked the MP for his kind gesture.
He assured Mr Adomako Mensah of the judicious use of the cement donated.
“On behalf of the people of Pampatia, I assure you that every bag of cement will be used for the purposes it’s meant for, so that our children can have a conducive place to learn” the Chief of Pampatia reiterated.
Mr Adomako Mensah was accompanied by the New Patriotic Party (NPP) constituency Chairman and polling station executives of the Pampatia electoral area.
