The interim headcoach of Elmina based football club, Elaine Sharks has left the club barely a season ago after coach Yaw Acheampong sacked was fired.
The 46-year old Ghanaian tactician have left his position as Elmina Sharks Manager after few games in the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League, insider sources confirmed.
It would be recalled that Ghana Premier League side Elmina Sharks FC appointed ex-Ghana international Nii Odartey Lamptey as interim coach last season after having their head coach Yaw Acheampong sacked.
The Club having settled down with Odartey Lamptey as their gaffer for the 2021/22 league season, the Ghanaian has quit his position after just FIVE games into the season.
He led the Fearsome Sharks to a 3-1 defeat against Eleven Wonders FC in Techiman and believes it’s a shame, asuch the decision to tender in his resignation letter on Monday Morning.

Lamptey is the owner of Glow Lamp Academy in Elmina. He played 5 matches picking just a win thus against Bibiani Gold Stars, lost 2-0 to Bechem United FC, 3-1 to Dreams FC and drew 1-1 with Accra Lions FC.
He is leaving with Elmina Sharks placed 17th on the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League table with 4 points after match day 5.
Lamptey played for Aston Villa, RSC Anderlecht, PSV Eindhoven, Coventry City amongst others during his heydays.
